Juan Carlos Vargas currently works for the National Basketball Association (NBA) as part of the Latin America Finance team, where he oversees the financial operations for the NBA’s regional offices in Mexico City and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before joining the NBA, he worked at the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) in Washington, D.C. He is also an adjunct faculty member at New York University, where he teaches both Undergraduate and Graduate courses in Sports Finance within the Sports Management program.
